Juichi Kobayashi, a former company dancer of Bejart Ballet Lausanne in Swiss and now giving rehearsals for the company, will presents the workshop of Bejart’s repertory.

[Teacher] Juichi Kobayashi
Born in Tokyo. Grown up with his grand father the late Kosan Yanagiya 5th who were the first living national treasure as a Rakugo-ka(comic storyteller), and his younger brother is also a comic storyteller Karoku Yanagiya. Juichi joined into Bejart Ballet Lausanne in Swiss in 1989, danced “the Rite of Spring”, “Fire bird”, “Nutcracker”, “Scheherazade”. Left the company in 2003, Juichi staged Bejart’s ballet for many ballet companies in the world. He was appeared in “Elizabeth Rex” as a stage actor in 2004 and some TV drama, films and radio programs. Juichi commits producing some creation such as his own dance performances and choreographed “Nijinsky” on Takarazuka in 2011, and many other performances for last few years.
Juichi went back to Bejart Ballet Lausanne to dance “M” after leaving company for 7 years. Also his appearance in the “Der Wunderbare Mandarin” in 2013 became the news.
