Aurelia Schaefer
She was engaged as a soloist firstly at the Ballet National de Nancy in 1986 then at the Royal Ballet of Flanders in 1995. She danced the repertoire of choreographers such as George Balanchine, Jiri Kylian, Pierre Lacotte, Jose Limon, Roland Petit, etc.
She was offered a soloist position at the Ballet de Monte-Carlo in 1998. She has interpreted many Jean-Christophe Malilot’s creations. She has also worked for the guest choreographers such as Wiiliam Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Twyla Tharp, etc. and danced the Balanchine reperpoire.
