Olivier Fourés studied ballet and contemporary dance in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris with A. Labis, C. Atanassof and S. Alexander, as well as with R. Franchetti and C. Messerer. Aged 17 he joins the Roland Petit Company in Marseille becoming soloist the following year. He is then invited by the Teatro della Scala/Piccolo Teatro in Milan to dance Le Jeune Homme et la Mort, with Alessandra Ferri. Later Olivier joins as soloist the Uwe Sholz Company in Leipzig and in the Vienna state opera, dancing and creating neoclassical pieces by U. Scholz, H. van Manen, Mac Millan, Balanchine, etc. and solo roles in several classics : Sleeping beauty, Swan lake, Romeo and Juliet, Nutcracker, Raymonda, etc. Olivier collaborates during this years with the Tanz Theater Wien and the choreographer M. Schröder. In 2000, Olivier starts to work with the Nacho Duato Company in Madrid, dancing N. Duato, W. Forsyth and J. Kylian repertory. Then Olivier turns himself into musical studies, becoming Doctor and University Professor in musicology, and a scientific member of the venitian vivaldian istitute. He also works a guest dancer, choreographer, violinist and teacher.
