Sun Xiao Jun
Sun Xiao Jun studied ballet at Shanghai dancing school. Winner of First prize at the China ballet competition in1993, the second prize at the Paris competition, France in 1994, and Finalist at the Jackson Ballet competition, U.S.A in 1994. He danced as a principal dancer at Shanghai Ballet, Les grands Ballets Canadiens, and Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, as a solist at Ballet du Grand Theatre de Geneve, Zurich Ballet. He was also danced at the Miami Festival (U.S.A), Lausanne competition Gala (Switzerland), Hong Kong Ballet group, Treviso Gala (Italy), Norway Artistic Center (Norway), Lafayette Ballet theatre (U.S.A), and Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet (U.S.A) as a guest dancer. He has been teaching as a guest teacher for Shanghai Ballet (China), Hong Kong Ballet, Cullberg Ballet, Carte Blanche Norwegian Ballet Company, Ultima Vez and more than 30 dance companies that were internationally known. He was a judge at the 30th Prix Carpeaux.
