Robert Tewsley
Robert was born in England. After graduating The Royal Ballet School in London in 1990, he joined to The National Ballet of Canada and The Stuttgart Ballet as a principal dancer. In 2002, he joined to The Royal Ballet and New York City Ballet as a principal dancer, he performed works of Gorge Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Sir Kenneth Macmillan and some other choreographers. He left those companies in 2004, and started dancing as an International Guest Principal Dancer. He performed principal roles with amongst others, the Vienna Staatsoper, the Australian Ballet, New National Theatre Tokyo, La Scala Milan and Teatro dell’Opera Rome. In 2002, Robert was chosen for one of “Dancers of the year” by “Dance Europe” magazine. He is also teaching as a guest teacher with Alberta Ballet in Canada and Prague Summer School. Currently, he finished Diploma in German and BA Hons in European Studies in Open University in London. Also he got Diploma of Advanced Studies in Arts Administration.
